With current concerns around coronavirus/COVID19, it is important that we as a business take everyone's health and safety very seriously, and due to the personal proximity while doing someone's makeup/custom foundation/refills/colour matching etc.
We have always followed these precautionary measures however, it is more important now more than ever to state these openly to our clients and customers so you can be assured that we follow all the relevant practices:
1. Safe business practice – What we are doing to protect you? Our client safety is first and foremost, therefore we practice strict hygiene measures. We thoroughly wash and sanitise our hands before touching a client’s face and at various times while applying makeup. Our brushes are thoroughly disinfected with special brush/pod cleansing products and then deep cleansed in between each appointment. They are also sanitised with anti-bacterial alcohol antiseptic. Mascara is applied with disposable mascara wands, other disposable tools such as lipstick wands are used when needed, and any cream/liquid products are decanted using a spatula.
2. If you, or anyone in your household are sick OR if you or anyone in your household has recently been overseas to affected areas: We ask that if you or someone in your household is unwell and showing any flu like symptoms OR If you or someone in your household has been overseas to an affected area within the last 14 days, please contact me to discuss your appointment.
This is to protect my own health and the health of our makeup artists and other clients and to reduce the chance that any virus could spread furthering the risk to others, especially those who are already immunocompromised.
